First off, welcome all! Thank you for joining and being part of this community!

I wanted to take the time to explain my goals and vision of the server to you all, as well as an expected tentative release date for the server.

As you all know (or should), I love GIR and Invader Zim. The server will be and is themed around the cartoon and the best sidekick one could ever hope for in GIR. Irk is the home planet of Invader Zim, so everyone here will be considered Irken as the base user role. We have other ranks in the works, which you can see some already have just to show off some of them.

The server is going to be Towny, like the good old days when most of us first met each other. My aim is to replicate that time, but give you all an updated experience. I hope everyone is able to hang out either in game or here in discord and chill and have an enjoyable time. As such, I expect any differences to be settled outside of public view, we don’t want that drama here. Please try to keep chat to family friendly, as you never know when a kid might be around. That’s not to say you can’t, just keep the swearing and such down to a minimum. Have fun is the key.

As for a release date, I am tentatively saying January 31, 2023. This gives the team roughly 3 weeks to finish the remaining configurations of the server as well as time for us to finish setting up the website, wiki, rules, store, and any other remaining items left on our list.
