The long wait is over! The server will be opening up to play on in full release tomorrow, July 9, 2023 12:00 PM!! With this, there are a few things I would like to mention for the release.

Firstly, we will have the map disabled for a week or two, so that players don’t go directly to villages and other locations to ransack them right away. Hopefully, this gives those who can’t play at the start a chance to find undiscovered villages and other locations of interest.

Second, The End world will not be open as well. During the beta, we had players rush to get there and kill the dragon before anyone had a chance to. I’ll be looking into a way that is fair to everyone for the dragon, if it means making it always drop an egg, then that may be the route I go.

Third, we reverted back to the old elevator plugin, as the new one that would let you camouflage your elevators into your builds was eating up the server memory and crashing it in a matter of minutes during testing. I still have a ticket open with that dev, who will hopefully find a cleaner way of handling how they schedule threads with their plugins.

Fourthly, we also swapped to a new PV plugin, which doesn’t have the same interface as the one you saw in beta, but still has the same permissions and commands.

Lastly, for those of you that participated in the beta and got the message when it was running, when you log onto the server use the command /voucher redeem girsloyalpiggy to receive a special reward/thanks for sticking around
